War Sports Industries War Bungees

Joey from War Sports Industries sent TGL a set of their new War Bungees to review a few months back. The only issue was we were still waiting for our FAST Bump to arrive.  Now that it has, we can go into a review of the installation and how the bungees are used.

When you order the bungees, you have a choice of Coyote, OD, or Multicam. When your bungees arrive at your doorstep, you will have in the bag the following items:

• Shock Cord
• 1  ITW Web Dominator
• 1 Cord Lock
• 4 Strap Loops – You thread your bungees through these.

Installation instrcutions are available on-line here.  I have e-mailed the company to ask if they can include a set as well with the package. I am not always at my computer to download and print out a set of insturctions.  I recommend that you review them first, and take your time threading the shock cord through the helmet holes.  It is noted in the instructions to be careful of the helmet pads and Occ-Dial. If threaded incorrectly, you are preventing the helmet for doing its job – protecting your head from blast and impact.

The installation took about 20 minutes to complete, and once done the shock cord was snug against the helmet.

Now that they are installed, they can be used to insert local foliage to help with concealment, and they help keep Velcroed  objects snug against the helmet. Because the helmet is round, unless the item is round, you may not have 100% contact with it and the Velcro.
